TEKH students success in the GAEA international contest

The GAEA (Green and Autonomous Energy Alliance) is a pioneering initiative aligning with the European Green Deal fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the green energy sector. GAEA is designed for innovators aiming to transform their ideas into sustainable innovations and researchers bringing scientific discoveries to market.

The project has announced an international contest, from idea generation to launch of start-up company. The participating countries: Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia. On the contest an international team of the University of Miskolc has signed up under the name of Green Gear Ltd., and in June 2024 they passed successfully through the second stage, being the No. 3 team out of the 13 Hungarian competitors. Their topics: Sensors-to-Mine Solutions.
