The University of Miskolc’s Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences and Engineering (ME MFK) is one of Hungary’s most important educational and research centres in the field of natural resource exploitation and application, and sustainable economy.
The MFK’s talent development organization, The Vocational College of Natural Resources Research and Utilization (TEKH Vocational College for short) was founded in 2017 with the purpose of giving more opportunities for the very best students of the Faculty. The students are supervised in their work by experienced teachers and researchers, as well as experts of the industry and economy.
The TEKH Vocational College is lead by the Presidency, but the organizations main decision-making forum is the General Assembly.

Our programmes include lectures, short courses, conferences, trips, factory visits and team-building programmes. A draft programme for the current semester is drawn up at the beginning of the semester and is updated on an ongoing basis as opportunities arise. Our calendar of events can be found in the Events section.
In addition to our own programmes, the programmes of our professional partner organisations are also available to our members.
For participation in these programmes, our student members receive TEKH credit(s). Each student member must accumulate at least 3 TEKH credits per semester to maintain active membership status.
