The course offers a comprehensive introduction to hydrogeochemistry and isotope hydrology, with particular attention to groundwater systems, water quality, critical raw materials, heavy metals, and the interpretation of hydrochemical and isotopic data. Topics include groundwater chemistry, water-quality assessment, environmental isotopes, groundwater age dating, contamination sources, groundwater sampling, geochemical modelling, and applications of machine learning in water-quality monitoring.
