Geochemical and Petrological Field Conference in Nagybörzsöny with our posters

The 15th Petrological-Geochemical Field Conference of the Hungarian Geological Society took place between 3–5 October 2025, now at an international level, under Hungarian and Slovak organization. The Friday field day of the three-day event led to Selmecbánya, where the famous research duo Jaroslav Lexa – Peter Kodera led the excursion to the main points of the occurrence.
Iván Gyenes and Dominik Szűcs guided the city tour. Iván Gyenes and Prof. Dr. János Földessy presented a revived version of the exploration idea for the West Mecsek copper bearing shale in a poster. Csilla Balassa and Dr. Norbert Németh also presented a poster with the results of their research in Bükk.
