Critical Raw Materials Marathon reaches goal

The TEKH Vocational College launched the Critical Raw Materials Marathon in the fall of 2023 by presenting a data collection.
Our team undertook to summarize the collected data in a series of articles in the Mining and Metallurgical Journals (in Hungarian: Bányászati és Kohászati Lapok) published by the National Hungarian Mining and Metallurgical Association (abbreviation of the Hungarian name of the organization: OMBKE). The manuscript of the group's last article was submitted to the editor in December 2025, and is expected to be published in January 2026.
A total of 8 journal articles were published during the work, which were written by 9 Hungarian and 9 foreign students. The work was also assisted by 5 instructors.
The project is expected to continue in 2026 by taking into account the opportunities offered by secondary raw materials.
